Les réservoirs sont livrés non peints et non apprêtés. Avant la peinture et le montage final, nous vous conseillons : Les réservoirs sont généralement étanches, qu’importe qu’ils soient custom ou OEM de rechange. Les problèmes surviennent en général après le montage. Raison pour laquelle il faut D’ABORD procéder à un test pression et faire un test de montage AVANT la peinture. De plus, il est impératif de traiter l'intérieur du réservoir par un produit spécial, à commander séparément : CC3991004.

Bobbed gas tank is dual cap type for carburetor models. It features a left side fuel gauge bung, and a right side screw bung.

Order gas caps separately. Tank is not for fuel injected models. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. It requires sanding and primer. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Check the petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. The petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion.
