One piece gas tank has a left side petcock location and a fuel capacity of 3.2 gallons. Gas tank bolts on existing mount points. Mount bracket included.

Tank accepts a two light, three light, or cast type dash kit. Tunnel at the bottom bracket measures 2-1/2". At the top of the tunnel just before it widens, it measures 2-3/4", and at the top bracket the tunnel measures 3-3/8". You must use an XLS or shorter seat for 1982-up models. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal. This will hlep to stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. Order FXR/FXD dash panel kit in chrome or black, separately

Les problèmes surviennent en général après le montage. Raison pour laquelle il faut D’ABORD procéder à un test pression et faire un test de montage AVANT la peinture. De plus, il est impératif de traiter l'intérieur du réservoir par un produit spécial, à commander séparément : CC3991004.
