Gas tank is a chopper axed gas tank. It has a right side petcock opening, and fuel capacity of 3.3 gallons. The tank features a screw type bung and accepts a ratcheting style vented gas cap. Gas cap is not included.
The tank features center rails and two mount tabs, and a 3/8" NPT outlet with 2 x 1/4" crossover outlets on either side of the rear to allow for multiple choices for routing fuel lines. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to, clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check the petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock.

Les réservoirs sont livrés non peints et non apprêtés. Avant la peinture et le montage final, nous vous conseillons : Les réservoirs sont généralement étanches, qu’importe qu’ils soient custom ou OEM de rechange. Les problèmes surviennent en général après le montage. Raison pour laquelle il faut D’ABORD procéder à un test pression et faire un test de montage AVANT la peinture. De plus, il est impératif de traiter l'intérieur du réservoir par un produit spécial, à commander séparément : CC3991004.
