Universal chopper style tank has a right side petcock opening, a fuel capacity of 3.1 gallons and accepts a bayonet style gas cap. It has front and rear mounting tabs.
It accepts a 1974 and earlier 3/8" National Pipe Thread style petcock. The two rear holes in the bottom side rear of the tank are for a crossover fuel line and accept a 1/4" National Pipe Thread fuel fitting. Pleast test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cauase leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal. This will help to stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock. Tank accepts Bayonet style vented gas caps. The tank has underilled tab front and rear for surface mounting on top frame tube.

Avant la peinture et le montage final, nous vous conseillons : Les réservoirs sont généralement étanches, qu’importe qu’ils soient custom ou OEM de rechange. Les problèmes surviennent en général après le montage. Raison pour laquelle il faut D’ABORD procéder à un test pression et faire un test de montage AVANT la peinture. De plus, il est impératif de traiter l'intérieur du réservoir par un produit spécial, à commander séparément : CC3991004.
