Laredo style gas tank with dished sides has a 3/8" NPT right hand petcock opening, and a fuel capcity of 3.1 gallons. Features a right side bung for 1983-2017 screw-in type gas caps.
The left and right hand rear connectors are 1/4" NPT. Features universal mounting brackets for easier mounting. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should bemasked or plugged during painting for easy installatino of petcock.

Avant la peinture et le montage final, nous vous conseillons : Les réservoirs sont généralement étanches, qu’importe qu’ils soient custom ou OEM de rechange. Les problèmes surviennent en général après le montage. Raison pour laquelle il faut D’ABORD procéder à un test pression et faire un test de montage AVANT la peinture. De plus, il est impératif de traiter l'intérieur du réservoir par un produit spécial, à commander séparément : CC3991004.
