Gas tank has a raw finish with a left side petcock location and a fuel capacity of 3.2 gallons.

Tank is dual cap type. This tank is shorter in length than the stock tank. Tank accepts stock components and is for carburetor models. Use with 1975-up petcock and proper hardware for installation process. Check the tank for flaws and fit, the tank qwill require sanding and primer, before paiting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. check the petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. The petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggets using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. *NOTE: This item contains a chemical that is know to cause cancer or birth defects

Les problèmes surviennent en général après le montage. Raison pour laquelle il faut D’ABORD procéder à un test pression et faire un test de montage AVANT la peinture. De plus, il est impératif de traiter l'intérieur du réservoir par un produit spécial, à commander séparément : CC3991004.
