Gas tank is a replica of the 1996-up stock versions and has a left side petcock location, and a fuel capacity of 3.2 gallons. Gas tank is zinc plated inside and out.
Tank features an updated design shape that rolls the bottom edge under, to give flowing lines, while still retaining the classic shape. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints, as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal. This will help to stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. Requires the use of V-Twin #35-0189, petcock adapter fitting, available for purchase separately.

Les réservoirs sont livrés non peints et non apprêtés. Avant la peinture et le montage final, nous vous conseillons : Les réservoirs sont généralement étanches, qu’importe qu’ils soient custom ou OEM de rechange. Les problèmes surviennent en général après le montage. Raison pour laquelle il faut D’ABORD procéder à un test pression et faire un test de montage AVANT la peinture. De plus, il est impératif de traiter l'intérieur du réservoir par un produit spécial, à commander séparément : CC3991004.
