Replica 2 gallon gas tank features the classic XR 750 design with a raw steel construction.
Specific to EFI models and also accepts bung style vented gas cap and 1986-up vented type gas caps. Tank includes extension for fuel pump assembly built in. Features a raw steel finish. Mounting bolts and bung style gas cap must be ordered separately. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock.

Avant la peinture et le montage final, nous vous conseillons : Les réservoirs sont généralement étanches, qu’importe qu’ils soient custom ou OEM de rechange. Les problèmes surviennent en général après le montage. Raison pour laquelle il faut D’ABORD procéder à un test pression et faire un test de montage AVANT la peinture. De plus, il est impératif de traiter l'intérieur du réservoir par un produit spécial, à commander séparément : CC3991004.
