Replica 2 gallon gas tank features the classic XR 750 design with a raw steel construction. The petcock is on the left side.

Accepts bung style vented gas cap and 1986-up vented type gas caps. Mounting bolts and bung style gas cap must be ordered separately. Measures 48cm long, 21.5cm wide and tunnel measures 8cm wide. Tank has full length mount strap welded in place. *NOTE: Replaces stock gas tank VT #38-0032. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged "oversize" for shipment, as compared to the actual weight, which will result in higher shipping costs. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock.
