Matrice en aluminium recouvert d‘une couche de caoutchouc synthétique. Les joints AFM sont utilisés à des endroits problématiques comme le primaire, le carter de distribution, l‘embase des cylindres, les cache-culbuteurs etc.

COMETIC, CAM COVER GASKETS. .060" AFM
.060" thick AFM (Aluminum Foamet Material). AFM gaskets are made with an aluminum core with a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic thin foam-like rubber layer bonded to both sides. Temperature resistance of over 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has a 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. Re-torqueing, gasket sealers or silicone beads are not required. OEM replacement reference 25263-90D.
