Gas tank has a right side petcock opening, and a fuel capacity of 2.5 gallons. This stretch chopper tank has a flat bottom for universal mounting on extended neck frames.
Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock. Center-to-center mounting holes measure 9-1/2" from front to back, and both sets of holes are 3-1/2" wide apart. Features 5/8"-18 thread hole for petcock. Uses screw-in type cap.

Avant la peinture et le montage final, nous vous conseillons : Les réservoirs sont généralement étanches, qu’importe qu’ils soient custom ou OEM de rechange. Les problèmes surviennent en général après le montage. Raison pour laquelle il faut D’ABORD procéder à un test pression et faire un test de montage AVANT la peinture. De plus, il est impératif de traiter l'intérieur du réservoir par un produit spécial, à commander séparément : CC3991004.
